Skip the Dishes has made lots of Brampton restaurants more accessible to more people by providing the convenience of delivery — more and more restaurants are hopping on the Skip site all the time. Here’s a list of 10 restaurants you definitely want to try.
Pho Viet Nam
A solid option for pho and other Vietnamese dishes, and you can throw yourself a good old feast because their prices are always affordable, even on Skip.
This Brampton joint with two locations gets rave reviews from basically anybody who’s anybody. That’s what good food will do. Their Reshmi kebab and korma are a good place to start.
City South Pizza
Skip the Dishes has no shortage of pizza joints listed, but City South is a Brampton staple for anyone looking for Desi pizza.
Heritage Fish & Chips
Heritage is a Brampton institution, people love the restaurant, as evidenced by their multiple locations in the city. You can have everything from fish and chips and fried pickles to sticky toffee pudding and deep-fried Mars bars delivered through Skip. They’ve got a couple of locations on the website so you can pick whichever is closest to your hood.
Gem’s House of Jerk
Gem’s is one of Brampton’s go-tos for jerk chicken and oxtail and now you don’t even have to leave your house to get some. The restaurant is almost always packed so now you can skip the lineups by having it delivered.
BriSkit Gourmet has an epic menu and the fact that it’s tucked away all the way up on Wilkinson Road makes their appearance on Skip the Dishes a saving grace. Their smoked meats, gourmet sandwiches, poutine and breakfast offerings are all noteworthy. BriSkit is only open from mid-morning to mid-afternoon every day and their Skip The Dishes hours reflect that, so a BriSkit order can be elusive, but totally worth it if you catch them at the right time.
Brampton’s resident smoothie bar has been on Skip for a while and nobody’s mad about it because who doesn’t want freshly squeezed juice, smoothies and smoothie bowls delivered to their house? If you need something healthy in a pinch but don’t have the time, Trish Juice has got you. They have salads and wraps on their menu too, but nothing beats those smoothie bowls and avocado toast.
Golden Stool is a feast of flavours with its Ghanaian-Caribbean cuisine, and unlike some restaurants, they don’t limit what they offer on Skip. Their spicy garlic shrimp, jerk-infused fried chicken, yam fries and Jollof rice are all delicious options. If you’re feeling really fancy though, try the steamed snapper.
La Gran Uruguaya
If you’re having a get-together and need some edibles in a snap, La Gran is perfect. Their Skip menu has combos including their delicious empanadas, and flaky Latin desserts and a bunch of other stuff that’s perfect for sharing. Or eating alone by yourself: nobody’s judging.
