Tuesday, June 5:

Community Bike Ride at Loafer’s Lake, 6:15 – 8 p.m.
The Brampton Cycling Advisory Committee (BCAC) is hosting its Loafer’s Lake Community Ride as part of the 2018 cycling season. These group rides provide opportunities for residents and visitors to explore Brampton on their bicycles, meet other cyclists and enjoy a free refreshment. “Lone Pine” Paint Night at Tracks Brew Pub, 7 – 9 p.m.
Enjoy good food and sip some wine or a cocktail, while picking up a brush. An artist will provide step by step guidance from start to finished painting. The $25 ticket price includes one 16” x 20″ canvas, brushes, apron, water-based non-toxic paint and easel.

Wednesday, June 6:

PAMA Tots, at PAMA, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Have a newborn and looking to get out of the house? Open their little minds through story and songs. Reserve a spot here. This event is open to caregivers with kids who are newborns to age 12 months.

Thursday, June 7:

Converge: A Gathering for Entrepreneurial Woman at Sheridan’s Davis Campus, 5 – 7:30 p.m.
The Entrepreneurship Discovery & Growth Engine (EDGE) invites women, and those who identify as women, to join in a special dialogue about entrepreneurship. This intergenerational gathering will provide entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs a chance to network, learn, and be inspired.

Connections Art and Book Club at PAMA, 7 – 8:30 p.m.
Literature and storytelling connect in this inspiring book club. This month’s choice is Flight Behaviour by Barbara Kingsolver. Admission is free to this program and is registration required through the Brampton Library. Visit www.bramptonlibrary.ca to learn more. Ages 16 and up.

CeleBrampton at PAMA, 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Join PAMA on the front lawn with some creative activities. Admission is free. Venture inside to cool down, take a tour, and check out all the colourful exhibitions. Plus, visit Brampton City Hall’s Daily Times Square from for some more historic fun with PAMA and other cultural partners from around Brampton.

Brampton Kite Fest at Brampton Fairgrounds, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Kite Fest brings the beauty and colour of kites to the skies of Brampton. There is also a variety of food, entertainment, music and great vendors. Kite Fest will be on Saturday and Sunday. Check the website for more information.

CeleBrampton in Downtown Brampton, 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
This annual one-day community celebration showcases Brampton’s open, friendly, diverse community and provides an opportunity for residents to learn about City initiatives and services. It also highlights the city’s culture, heritage, arts, dance, and food with family fun and a variety of local entertainment. For more details see the City of Brampton website.

Ralf Rides Again Charity Bike Ride at Brampton Rugby Football Club, 11 a.m. – 12 a.m.
Help honour the legacy of the incredible Ralf Jarchow by carrying on his passion for supporting health care in our community. Join William Osler Foundation Office for a 15K bike ride in support of Women’s and Children’s Services in Brampton.

Family Fun Day at PAMA, 1 – 4:30 p.m.
Celebrate the Summer Solstice at PAMA on Saturday and Sunday. Guide your family through art projects at PAMA and inspire creativity. Drop-in activities are included in the cost of PAMA admission.

Paper Making TryArt Workshop at Visual Arts Brampton, 7 – 9 p.m.
This series of single-session workshops at Visual Arts Brampton brings together artists and enthusiasts of all skill levels to learn different art techniques across a variety of media, from drawing and painting to jewelry, origami and sculpture. The registration fee is $25.

Brampton Chamber Music Concert Series at St. Paul’s United Church, 7:30 – 9:30 p.m.
This classical music concert features Jennifer Tran (saxophone), Celia Tang (clarinet), and Luke Welch (piano). The evening also includes a young artist selected by audition: Hannah Semeniuk (piano). Admission is by donation or pay-what-you-can.

Rock For Food at Spot 1 Grill, 8:30 p.m. – 1:30 a.m.
Join Torpedo Sunrise, Little Joe & the Werewolves, and Jail Birds for a concert in support of the Knight’s Table. All proceeds from the concert and raffle will go to support the Knight’s Table. Admission is $5 plus a non-perishable food item.

Sunday, June 10:

Brampton Blooms at Flower City Seniors Recreation Centre, 12:30 – 4 p.m.
This annual flower show is presented by the Brampton Horticultural Society. Residents of Brampton and surrounding communities are welcome to place entries on Sunday, June 10, between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. The show will be open to the public for viewing between 12:30 and 4:00 p.m. There is no charge for this event.
