Have breakfast with Santa

Santa Claus is coming to town to enjoy some pancakes and bacon. Register and purchase here. Note that the cost of breakfast is separate and is not included in your registration.

Check out the festival of Christmas Trees

This year, the Downtown Brampton BIA is hosting a Christmas tree competition. In November the BIA handed out over 40 wooden Christmas trees to schools across Brampton. Each school painted and decorated a tree, and the trees have been scattered through downtown Brampton businesses.

The public can help select the winning school by voting. The school which collects the most votes will be gifted a grand prize of $1,200. Check out the list of participating locations here.

Enjoy a holiday dinner

Downtown Brampton has no shortage of delicious places to enjoy a meal. This time of year area restaurants are serving up hearty, warm meals and turning on their fireplaces. Restaurants like Fanzorelli’s, and others, also offer special holiday menus.

Go for a skate

Once you’ve enjoyed dinner, take a leisurely stroll to Gage Park and skate through Brampton’s most scenic outdoor skating trail. This year the lights display is more epic than ever.

Enjoy the twinkle lights

If you’re not up for a skate, just enjoy the ambiance of downtown this time of year. Thousands of lights are scattered across the city’s core, from Gage Park all the way to the Church Street and Main Street intersection. Some of the local stores also have spectacular holiday window displays, so just enjoy a stroll down Main Street and take it all in.
