It’s no secret that taking your road tests can be stressful, especially in Brampton. Whether you’ve just turned 16 or stealthily procrastinated it well into your 20s — getting a license is a rite of passage most people will experience eventually. The GTA is notorious for having some of the toughest drivers test centres across Ontario. If you’re willing to travel though, you can increase your odds of nailing it the first time around. Here’s a list of the best and worst places to take your G2 and G road tests throughout the province.

Your Best Chances

Your best chances will be at these five test centres across Northern Ontario — they all have an average pass rate of over 75%. The farther you go from the GTA, the less crazy the streets become, so testing tends to reflect that.

Belleville

Your Worst Chances

The worst test centres across the province have a pass rate of less than 60% and not surprisingly, Brampton is on the list. Some of these test centres can be brutal, so it may be worth the trip up north to ensure you come out of your test unscathed.
