Local hockey team the Brampton Beast is, for the first time ever, playing two free pre-season games. There’s one at home in Brampton on Saturday, and the best part is that you’re invited.

The Beast is the ECHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens. We know that makes it a little hard for some of you Leafs fans to get in on it, but seeing hockey at the Powerade Centre up close and personal is lots of fun and totally worth it. The ECHL team for the Leafs is in Orlando, Florida, so it’s not like you’re going to a Solar Bears game any time soon, anyway!

The first pre-season game is with University of Toronto and it takes place Wednesday, October 4 in Toronto. However, this Saturday, October 7, the Beast hosts Wilfrid Laurier University at 3:00PM, right here at home in the Powerade Centre.

It’s easy to get tickets for Saturday’s game: just register here.
