Brampton Farmers’ Markets

Brampton has two farmers markets that take place from June to October yearly. The downtown Brampton farmers’ market, which has been going strong for 32 years, and the Mount Pleasant Village market, which was established four years ago.

Downtown Farmers’ Market

Saturdays — June 16 to September 1
Main Street North and Main Street South
7 a.m. – 1 p.m.

2018 marks the 32nd year of the Downtown Brampton Farmers’ Market being operated by the City. The market runs Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. starting in mid-June. This year the market will run at Main and Queen until September 1. After September 1 it will run in Rosalea Park located on Church Street due to the downtown’s major water main replacement and streetscaping project slated to begin in the fall.

You can expect a festive market atmosphere with local produce, crafts, baked goods, prepared foods and hand-made products. You can also look forward to live music from buskers and food demonstrations in the square on occasion.

Village Market

Thursdays — June 21 to October 4, 2018
100 Commuter Drive
4 to 8 p.m.

2018 is the 4th year for the Mount Pleasant Village Market. The market, which runs every Thursday evening from June to Thanksgiving, takes place in Mount Pleasant Village Square on Brampton’s Northwest end.

The market started as an authentic farmers’ market based on standards by Farmers’ Markets Ontario. In its third year, it was transformed into the village market, allowing for a more diverse range of vendors to participate. You can expect local produce, baked goods, prepared foods, handcrafted goods and more.
