Brampton is getting its own version of the Amazing Race. No, it’s not part of the TV show, but it’s still going to be cool. Organizers say the event will “test your wit, patience and endurance,” and promises to be a challenge for people of any age.

This free event was created by the Bramalea Community Health Centre (BCHC). BCHC, around since 2008, provides care that promotes healthy living and prevention of disease. This event is totally in line with that goal since it’s all about enjoyment of a healthy lifestyle.

If you’re interested in participating in Bramalea’s Amazing Race you will want to put together a team of two to six people.

It takes place August 12 from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm at Chinguacousy Park’s Picnic Shelter 1.

To register for free or get info you can contact BCHC at 905 451 8090, Ext. 107 or  Ext. 153. Naturally you can also register online right here.

One you have your team registered, the five challenges of Bramalea’s Amazing Race are yours to conquer.
