In celebration of the life of the unforgettable Gord Downie, CTV has announced it will present the much-anticipated film about The Tragically Hip, Long Time Running, in a special advance, commercial-free world television premiere.

The 95-minute film, which was previously scheduled to debut in November, airs Friday, October 20 at 8 p.m. ET/PT and the City of Brampton is broadcasting it on the Garden Square big screen.

Also presented is an art piece titled “Ahead by a Century… and a half” which creates iconography out Gord Downie’s face. The piece was originally entered into Brampton’s Muskoka Chair Challenge to celebrate Canada 150 by artist Rory O’Connell.

Join fans of Gord Downie and The Tragically Hip in Garden Square tonight for the event.
