Brampton Library has been stepping up its tech game for the last couple of years, with 3D printers, a recording studio, and more cool stuff available at various library branches.

Let’s not forget the recently opened Springdale Library branch at Bramalea Road and Dewside Drive, that looks like a spaceship from the future.

This month Brampton Library introduced a program that lends out GoPro Hero cameras to library cardholders.

Cameras come in a kit with the GoPro, a mounting frame, a buckle and screw, Micro-USB cable and a carrying case. The only thing you’ll need to get yourself is a Micro-USB card.

The GoPro kits can be borrowed for up to 21 days from library branches across the city, but can’t be renewed, put on hold, or taken out for extended periods of time past the 21-day limit.

All you need to borrow a GoPro is a Brampton Library card, which you can apply for online or in person at any branch. You can also check whether GoPros are available here.
