Holiday cheer is in full swing this week with the City of Brampton’s major seasonal celebrations kicking off this weekend. Here’s a full schedule of all the happenings in downtown Brampton.

2017 Tree Lighting

The City of Brampton will light its massive Christmas tree and lights surrounding Gage Park on Friday, November 17th. The event kicks off at 4 p.m. with the start of the Christmas Market and will continue until 10 p.m. with lots of vendors and community booths hosting their own events throughout the night. All of it will culminate in lights being turned on.

Christmas Market

The downtown Brampton Christmas Market is back again this year and bigger than ever. This year it’s been extended and will take over not just Garden Square, but Daily Times Square outside of the new city hall expansion, as well as the city hall atrium. This year’s market will run on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Check out this post for market hours.

Santa Claus Parade

The Brampton Board of Trade Santa Claus Parade kicks off on Saturday, November 18 at 5 p.m. The parade will travel from Sproule and Ken Whillans Drive, along Main Street going south, ending at Elgin Drive. Don’t miss one of Canada’s largest nighttime parades.
