With a history longer than Canada itself, downtown Brampton has seen its fair share of paranormal sightings and experiences.
After Dark, a group that provides haunted walking tours across the GTA, is coming to Brampton this October to take anyone daring enough to join on a creepy haunted walking tour of downtown spots where people have allegedly experienced paranormal activities.
According to tour organizers, downtown Brampton is home to lots of unexplained phenomena, which is no surprise given the city’s 190-year history and series of strange and unusual deaths.
The tour will take participants along both the east and west sides of Main Street to nine paranormal and haunted stops on October 14, 21 and 28.
The tour will run from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. beginning at Gage Park and ending on Alexander Street. Tour guides will walk everyone safely back to their cars or bus stops at the end of the evening.
If exploring the city’s paranormal sites in the dark is a bit too scary, the After Dark crew is also offering a walking tour on October 7th at 11 a.m. during the Farmer’s Market. The tour will meet on the steps of city hall and stop at a few haunted sites in the downtown core.
