Now that it’s November, malls are fully decked out in holiday decor, Starbucks has launched its festive cups and you’re probably already seeing Christmas specials pop up on TV.

It isn’t the holiday season without twinkle lights, and Brampton’s tree lighting is on November 17th and lights displays are already popping up in and around the city.

One such light display is the Gift of Lights celebration on the outskirts of Kitchener-Waterloo, just an hour’s drive from Brampton.

The event happens at Bingemans event grounds and it’s a spectacular two-kilometre stretch of holiday lights, displays and decorations.

The big attraction is the event’s 200-foot light tunnel. You can drive through the tunnel with your car and enjoy thousands of twinkle lights in different colours surrounding you.

If this doesn’t get you in the holiday spirit we don’t know what will. The festival runs from November 17 to January 6.
