Downtown Brampton has been a hotbed of fun things to do this summer with movie nights, live music, street festivals and more.
This summer the Downtown Brampton BIA is hosting three street parties happening in the downtown laneways. One party was hosted in June and it was a total hit! People danced the night away to Latin, Bhangra and Jazz music, enjoyed street food and had a fantastic time.
The second street party kicks off on July 20 with live Latin and Jazz bands taking over George Street. Consider the streets your dancefloor! There will also be Bhangra dance performances and Latin fusion belly dancing.
Daily Times Square — in front of the new city hall entrance on 33 Queen St. West — will have kids activities (6-9PM), including a photo booth, Meet and Greets with Brampton Fire/Peel Police, and crafts. McArter Lane on 27 Main St. North (6-10PM) will be playing rock music all night with some awesome vendors, and fashion shows presented by local businesses. There will also be live music in Garden Square (Friday Night Live Series).
You can also expect food vendors including Sul Irmaos Smokehouse, La Gran Uruguaya, Steaming Cups Cafe and Joey’s Deli.
