All Canadian National Parks are free this year for Canada’s 150, and for one day Ontario Parks will also be free.

On Wednesday, August 16, all parks across the province will offer free admission in order to encourage people to get outside and enjoy nature.

Ontario parks have lots to offer. Canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking — the whole gamut of outdoorsy activities.

While there are no Ontario Provincial Parks located within Brampton’s boarders, there are plenty of noteworthy ones worth trekking to — Algonquin, Bon Echo and Neys are all great options.
