US-based fried chicken restaurant chain Church’s Chicken is branching out to the GTA suburbs and opening its first location in Brampton.

The quick-serve resto is well-known for its freshly-prepared original and spicy chicken as well as honey butter biscuits fresh-baked daily.

Currently, Church’s Chicken has over 1700 locations across the globe in 24 countries, including some in British Columbia and one in Toronto. The restaurant has a long history, having been founded in San Antonio, TX in 1952. It’s grown to be one of the biggest quick-service chicken chains in the world.

The chain’s Brampton location will be located in the coming months at Hurontario Street and Ray Lawson Blvd, in the Longo’s plaza.
