Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is slated to visit Brampton Monday morning to meet with Mayor Linda Jeffrey.
Brampton has played host to plenty of political visits lately. The most notable being Premier Kathleen Wynne’s visit, Minister Deb Matthew’s visit to announce the opening of the university’s call for expressions of interest and Minister Navdeep Bains’ visit to announce more money towards transit funding.
Now the Prime Minister himself is set to visit the city to discuss issues important to Brampton with mayor Jeffrey. Talks kick off at 10 a.m.
This is the PM’s second visit to the city in less than six months. Trudeau was also in Brampton some months ago for the opening of the new Amazon distribution centre, a state of the art facility.
