Former Toronto Maple Leaf Players Coming to Brampton This Weekend for Meet and Greet

Hockey fans you’re in for a treat. The Rogers Hometown Hockey tour is making a stop in Brampton this weekend and there will be tons of hockey-related things happening, including a meet and greet with some former NHL players.

NHL alumni Darryl Sittler, Rick Vaive and Wendel Clark will be meeting fans and signing autographs this Saturday, March 10 at noon in Garden Square, so if you’ve always wanted to meet some hockey greats in the flesh, now’s your chance.

The Hometown Hockey festivities kicked off Wednesday with the Stanley Cup making a stop at a few locations across Brampton. There’s lots more in store this weekend including live local entertainment, activities for the whole fam, giveaways and a live outdoor viewing party of the Sunday night game where the Calgary Flames take on the New York Islanders.

Sportsnet hosts Ron MacLean and Tara Slone will also be broadcasting live from Garden Square before the game on Sportsnet, Sportsnet NOW and Rogers NFL Live.

It’s going to be a jam-packed weekend of oh so much fun for hockey lovers. Check out the full schedule of activities here, and if you’re not looking forward to the prospect of parking in downtown Brampton, check out our parking guide before you head down to make things a lot smoother.
