New York Times bestselling author and poet Rupi Kaur is hosting an evening of poetry this month at the Rose Theatre.
In celebration of Sikh Heritage Month Kaur will perform some of her most popular pieces that have made it across the globe and back.
Kaur’s collection of poetry Milk & Honey has sold over half a million copies in the US and is into its 16th printing, according to its publisher.
Known as an ‘Instapoet’ for the following she has amassed online with her poetry that deals with femininity, violence and abuse, her works take readers through a journey of sadness, grief, triumph and growth.
Now Kaur is returning home to Brampton for what’s sure to be a fantastic, uplifting evening as she performs her work.
