The Stanley Cup itself will be in Brampton this week in the lead-up to a massive hockey celebration happening in the city this weekend.
On Wednesday, March 7, Lord Stanley’s Cup will be in Garden Square from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. for public viewing.
It’s all part of Rogers Hometown Hockey which is making a stop in Brampton this weekend.
Over the weekend Sportsnet broadcast hosts Ron MacLean and Tara Slone will be hanging out in Garden Square and former NHL-ers Darryl Sittler, Rick Vaive, and Wendel Clark will be doing a meet-and-greet and signing autographs.
There will be live entertainment, autographs, an augmented reality photo booth, an obstacle course, viewing party, and a ton more.
In this mid-week lead-up to the event, you can be in the presence of the Stanley Cup, which has been held by the biggest hockey greats of all time. Come out and be awed, and grab a selfie too. The fun goes down Wednesday afternoon, and then there’s even more in store this weekend.
