The downtown Brampton farmers’ market kicks off June 16, marking its 32nd anniversary.

Every Saturday during market season the Four Corners area of downtown Brampton becomes a marketplace where visitors can buy locally grown produce, preserves, baked goods, homemade crafts and other artisan goods from over 50 vendors.

The market opens at 7 a.m. and closes at 1 p.m. and is held rain or shine. It takes place from Main Street North between Nelson St. & Queen St. to Main Street South, between Queen St. & John St. Parking is available at various parking garages in the downtown including under City Hall, The Rose and on John Street.

Last year was the first year the Harvest Market followed the Farmers’ Market. This new event extends the season and allows vendors four more weeks to attract Thanksgiving shoppers and ensure a robust fall season. This year, because of the downtown Brampton streetscaping and water main replacement project, the Harvest Market will be held in Rosalea Park.
