Culture Days Weekend in Brampton was supposed to kick off with a giant laneway party in downtown Brampton. Due to unstable weather it was postponed to Wednesday, October 4, so get ready to enjoy a mid-week celebration!

The street festival is taking place in McArter Lane (27 Main Street North) and will have live music, an interactive photo booth, delicious food stalls and other vendors.

Things start at 6 p.m. with local rockers the David Love Band performing from 6 to 7:30 p.m. followed by Bachata, Kizomba and Salsa dance lessons from 1-2-3 Salsa company. Then from 8:15 to 10 p.m. the Stacey Renee Band will entertain the crowd.

Some of downtown’s most delicious restaurants and shops will also be there serving up eats including, Fanzorelli’s, Queen Gypsy Pub, Dolcezza Custom Cakes, Sul Irmaos and more. Carve on lot 5 will also extend its patio for the party.

Even though the laneway party didn’t end up during Culture Days as planned, we’re pretty glad to have a reason to celebrate on a Wednesday.
