Summer-like weather has finally arrived in Southern Ontario, and what better way to celebrate than by checking out the waterpark?
It’s supposed to be a scorching 30 degrees this weekend and you’ll have the perfect way to cool down because Wet’N’Wild Toronto opens on May 26 for the first time this season.
The park opens on Saturday, May 26 and Sunday the 27, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will continue to be open on weekends until June 29, then they’ll be open seven days a week.
The 45-acre park opened for the first time in 2017 after over $25 million in renovations on what used to be Wild Water Kingdom. They launched new rides and a completely new guest experience.
On May 26 and 27 it’s Season Pass Appreciation weekend, so if you’ve already purchased your EZ Band — their high-tech wristbands that act as passes — then you’ll be in for a treat.
Over opening weekend season pass holders can bring a friend for free. They’ll also receive a free souvenir bottle, free fountain drink refills, and free sunscreen. They won’t let you go hungry; the first 500 pass holders will also receive free pizza and the park will have $2 hot dogs all day.
Perks for season pass holders extend past just opening weekend. Aside from unlimited visits all summer, you’ll also get a free bring a friend coupon, 10% off food and retail purchases at the park, 25% off private cabana rentals, and other discounts and offers all summer.
If you don’t have a season pass, not to worry, Wet’N’Wild is still selling their passes at a discounted rate of $69.95 plus tax when you purchase two or more. Prices are expected to increase soon.
During opening weekend all of the park’s rides will be fully operational and you’ll be able to enjoy a DJ dance party as well as live music throughout the day.
Wet’N’Wild is located at 7855 Finch Ave W on the Southeast end of Brampton.
