This 1993 Discovery Zone commercial Will Give You All Sorts of Nostalgia

If you didn’t spend at least a handful of birthday parties at Discovery Zone in the early 190s you were missing out. Kids flocked to the DZ zone located in what is basically now the JYSK store at the 410 & Queen plaza for lots of good times.

Discovery Zone, along with Laser Quest and the good McDonald’s on Main Street were the go-to places for birthday parties and hangouts far before you were considered old enough for Wizard’s Castle.

DZ in particular was a hotspot for weekend fun with friends in elementary school — even though someone inevitably forgot to bring socks.

This retro DZ commercial below will make you feel all sorts of nostalgic for those days when you actually used the home phone to call your friends and only the rich kids had home computers. Check it out.
