Love it or hate it, Valentine’s Day is almost here once again. Whether you’re spending it with a special someone or flying solo, this list should be able to help you carve out some epic plans.
1. Enjoy some good food
The way to any reasonable person’s heart is good food. Aria Bistro and Lounge in downtown Brampton offers a romantic and elegant atmosphere perfect for V-Day, and it’s ambiance will impress just about anyone. Bucatini is a tried and true for authentic Italian fare in an intimate setting. They’ll have live jazz and a special menu on Valentine’s Day. Nine18 is also a great option. It’s loungey feel and giant fireplace makes it a trendy, but inviting spot for a great dinner. This list would be amiss without dessert, and any person with a sweet tooth will love Caffe Demetre’s extensive menu.
2. Do something unconventional
Test your skills and try an escape room at Perplexity. Solve puzzles, tackles obstacles and try to escape from theme based rooms. Try something totally different and go axe throwing at STRYKE target range in Brampton, or try enjoy a romantic evening over some board games at House of Cards.
3. Enjoy the great outdoors
Lace up those skates for some ice time at the outdoor skating trails at Chingacousy Park or Gage Park. It’s not only romantic, but it’s also completely free. There’s plenty of places to take a picturesque walk in and around Brampton, or if you and your Valentine are particularly adventurous, enjoy these great toboggan hills and tubing hills in the area.

Throw paint for fun at Splatter Quest, take some art classes at Beaux Arts or enjoy some alcoholic beverages while painting at Paint & Cocktails. Peel Art Gallery also has some great galleries worth checking out.
