Friday

1. Friday Night Lounge at J. Red

Enjoy some great food, a DJ and an awesome vibe at J. Red & Co’s Friday night lounge series. The night kicks off at 9 p.m. at 341 Main St. South.

2. Friday night at Stryke Target Range

Test out Stryke’s axe and knife throwing range for $20 per person per hour on a walk-in basis this Friday.

Saturday

3. Open Mic at Xayamaca

Caribbean Music and Entertainment Awards are hosting an open mic on Saturday at Xaymaca Restaurant. Anyone is welcome to hit the stage. The event kicks off at 6 p.m. More info here.

4. Say goodbye to Winter with ‘Sugaring Off’

Hart House Farm Committee is hosting a Sugaring Off event to officially say goodbye to the frigid cold and welcome in spring. Farm tours, making maple syrup and other events will be happening on Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m and tickets are available here.

5. Pokemon School at Hobby Studio

New downtown shop Hobby Studio is hosting Pokemon lovers for a workshop on playing Pokemon TCG. Players of all skill levels are welcome. Check out the event’s Facebook page for all the details.

6. Celebrate Earth Hour

For those who’d rather stay at home, this one is for you. Earth Hour takes place this Saturday, for an hour everyone is encouraged to shut off all major power suckers starting at 8:30. Click here for more information.
