Rollerskating

On Family Day you could be cruising around 90s style on roller skates. RollerPlex is open 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. for a special family skate.

Explore the local museum

Peel Art Gallery Museum + Archives has free admission on Monday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and has activities all day including painting, and community art. The archives, museum and art gallery are also open for exploration.

Trampolining

Aerosports trampolining park is open Monday and for $25 you could be jumping and diving into pits of spongy blocks all day long.

Mini golf and laser tag

Glow Zone 360’s laser tag arena and glow-in-the-dark mini golf course will be open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Family Day. They also have an arcade and free WiFi for parents who just want to hang out while the kids have fun.

Virtual Reality Arcade

Ctrl V opened last fall in the plaza at Queen and Kennedy as Brampton’s first virtual reality arcade. Enjoy virtual reality games like Beat Saber, Arizona Sunshine and more. The arcade is ideal for kids and adults alike

Rock Climbing

For a little indoor adventure check out Toprock Climbing. The gym has bouldering walls at different skill levels for kids and adults, and an auto-belay wall.

Board game marathon

Wildcard Board Game Cafe is open Monday and they have hundreds of board games to enjoy. For a few bucks per person, you could be playing all off the board game classics with the whole fam. They also have tasty snacks to keep you fueled.

Enjoy a rec centre

On Family Day, recreation centres across the city will have a bunch of activities all day including carnival games, geocaching, snowshoeing, skating and more.
