Chinguacousy Park and a few other spots are prime places to take engagement photos in Brampton. But if you’re looking for settings a little bit more unconventional and dynamic, here’s a list of unique locations for your engagement session in Brampton.

1.  Peel Art Gallery Museum & Archives

Modern meets rustic and vintage at Peel Art Gallery Museum & Archives. Both the inside and outside of its buildings are dynamic and offer lots of variety for a great engagement session. The grounds have two beautiful courtyards, great brick architecture, and a sweeping green lawn if you and bae want to pose with the old courthouse in the background. The inside of the building, with its clean modern lines and art gallery, are also worth checking out during your session, though you’ll need permission to take photos inside of the actual art gallery.

2. City Hall West Tower

City Hall received a $500 million facelift and it looks beautiful, so why not take advantage for a photo shoot? You’ll need permission, but if it’s granted you won’t regret it. The rose wall atrium is gorgeous and the glass bridge overlooking George Street is stellar for photos too.

3. Downtown Brampton

Downtown Brampton, in general, is a dynamic place to shoot photos, including Vivian Lane which sits in between Beaux-Arts and the CyclePath cycling store. The lane has benches, walls covered in art, and if you and your love are into chess, you can go head-to-head at one of the public chess tables.

Bring a photographer along to capture all of the action, and a few smooches in between of course, and you’ve got yourself a totally boss engagement session at Stryke.

6. Latter-Day Saints Temple

The Latter-day Saints Temple at Bramalea and Bovaird sports one of the nicest and most serene gardens in the city. They have tall trees, giant flower beds, four gorgeous fountains and lots of green space. It’s free and open to anyone. The gates are closed periodically so its always a good idea to call ahead.

7. Splatter Quest

Splatter Quest is an interactive studio and workshop that teaches the art of throwing paint and making it look good. The company offers private sessions, so a photographer can easily document you and your love throwing paint at a canvas, and each other too.

8. Mount Pleasant Village

Mount Pleasant is a picturesque little community in Brampton’s northwest corner. Its giant fountains and wading pool can make for a great engagement session. There’s also public art, a library and a charming area of benches and green space that’s perfect for an engagement sesh. If you and bae love books, why not sneak into the stacks to get a few photos?
