Brampton is no stranger to crazy and interesting stunts on the roads. Last year a man was caught on video driving his car backwards through the city, and someone recently took a tractor through a Tim Hortons drive-thru.

Now a new video is going viral: a Brampton cyclist was recorded hitching a ride with a truck.

The incident happened in the Steeles Avenue and 410 area. The video surfaced a couple of days ago on Instagram and shows a cyclist on his bike holding onto the back of a truck–while the truck was travelling at about 70 kilometres per hour.

Not only is the stunt dangerous, but it’s also illegal and could result in a fine and criminal charge. No incidents were reported to Peel Police so the stowaway presumably reached his destination safely.
