Soon you’ll be able to discover the wonders of the universe here in Brampton, because the Royal Ontario Museum’s massive traveling planetarium will be here in a couple of weeks.
The traveling planetarium is a giant, inflatable dome with a projected night sky inside. The projector shows the night sky as it is now, in various stages of the year, as well as constellations from Greek mythology.
The Travelling Planetarium will be in Brampton for two weeks. First at the South Fletcher’s Library branch from April 15 to 21 and then at Gore Meadows Library Branch from April 22 to 28.
30-minute sessions to explore the dome will be available for free on a first-come, first-served basis and entry will be issued day-of at the participating library branches.
