There is a new library branch in the city, expected to be open by the end of the year.
This will make the eight branch of Brampton Library and will be the westernmost location. You’ll be able to find it at Financial Drive and Mississauga Road (8405 Financial Drive), in a plaza called Lionhead Marketplace, right near the Lionhead Gold and Country Club.
This new branch has been established to meet the needs of the community that has grown a lot recently.
Residents who visit this new branch will be able to borrow new fiction and non-fiction books, and gain access to many more benefits currently available by being a library cardholder, such as access to eBooks, audiobooks and eLearning.
There will also be early literacy programs for children from age six, from Bridgeway/EarlyON Child and Family Centre.
