A new eatery just opened in Brampton, serving up a selection of Turkish, Pakistani, and other South Asian-inspired dishes.
The restaurant, Fusion Cuisine, serves up chicken and beef donair, tandoori platters, kebab, fresh saag, salads, wraps, smoothies, and other eats. The menu takes flavour cues from Turkey, India, and Pakistan.
The owner Younus Khan immigrated from Germany in 2002, where he helped his brother set up a Turkish donair shop in Augsburg, Germany. Khan’s inspiration for Fusion Cuisine came from his own challenge of finding restaurants that could satisfy all of the taste buds in his family of five.
“Dad likes spices, mom likes Chinese, and the kids want wraps and doner. Fusion Halal Cuisine is the type of restaurant that serves the entire family,” he says.
All of the menu’s options are halal, and the restaurant also offers a catering menu, as well as ordering online through SkipTheDishes. Fusion Cuisine is located at 8500 Torbram Rd., Unit 49.
