With the recent COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE) in Ontario. However, during this time, the community has been able to come up with solutions in order to help those in need.

In an Instagram post, Shoppers World Brampton shared that one of its tenants, Stitch-It Clothing Alterations & Dry Cleaning, is making surgical-grade fabric masks in order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The store plans to create 180 masks per day and send them out to local businesses and organizations. Their main goal is to help make at least 78,000 face masks in the hopes of boosting Canada’s mask supply.
