To further protect the health and well being of Brampton residents against COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus), City of Brampton offices, recreation and community centres, libraries, the BEC coworking space, the Rose Theatre, and March Break activities are closed or cancelled until April 6.

Critical services remain open, such as fire and emergency, Brampton Transit, traffic services, by-law enforcement, road operations, security services, animal services and POA courts.

This decision followed an announcement by the Region of Peel Public Health about its own closures and precautions with regard to COVID-19. The following regional services are closed until further notice:

  • EarlyON centers
  • 2020 income tax preparation clinics
  • PAMA (this includes cancellation of March Break activities)
  • Brampton, Bolton, Meadowvale, Malton, Hope 24/7 Public Health clinics

Note that as of this writing, Region of Peel offices will remain open.
