Due to the Remembrance Day celebrations on Monday, November 11, Brampton Transit will experience temporary detours.

The Remembrance Day annual parade will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., and there will be road closures for thru traffic and transit routes on Main Street between Queen Street and Clarence Street.

This will affect the 502 Züm Main northbound and southbound, and 2 Main northbound and southbound. Here are the detours:

Detour of Bus Route 502 Züm Main northbound and 2 Main from Main Street:

The route before reaching Queen and Main, will turn left onto Harold Street, right onto McMurchy Avenue, and right onto Nelson Street, before turning left and resuming north on Main Street.

Detour of Bus Route 502 Züm Main southbound and 2 Main from Main Street:

The route before reaching Queen and Main, will turn right onto Nelson Street, left onto McMurchy Avenue, and left onto Harold Street, before turning right and resuming south on Main Street.

For more information see the city’s webpage for a map of the detour.
