Brampton Artist Roy Wood$ Shows Love to Turner Fenton in New Music Video

OVO signee and Brampton native, Roy Wood$, just dropped a brand new music video for his dancehall inspired track, Gwan Big Up Urself. The alternative R&B artist and rapper has been lauded for his latest work, Waking At Dawn.

The music video features the B-town crooner and his crew having a good time dancing on Turner Fenton’s football field(s, Roy’s former high school). The music video cuts to a short skit featuring another Brampton talent, 4YallEntertainment (Jae and Trey Richards in particular), referencing one of their most popular videos, JAMAICAN RESTAURANTS NEVER HAVE FOOD! Look out for Toronto legend Kardinal Offishall who also makes an appearance.

Gwan Big Up Urself is a fan favourite from Waking At Dawn, and with this lit music video, the song will soon be a classic in Roy’s discography, no doubt.

We got all of Brampton dancing to this chune! As one comment on the video reads: ‘Big up whole of Brampton’.
