Born and raised in Brampton, Sara is a Ph.D. Candidate at Ryerson University and has a Master of Arts in International Development Studies.
She is the founding director of Broadening Horizons, Board Director at Community Living of Ontario, and former Vice President at Brampton Caledon Community Living.
Sara is a multilingual, long–time Brampton advocate. She fights for workers’ rights, small businesses and good jobs for all.
As a community developer with five siblings, Sara also loves helping her parents at their family business Jas Supermarket.
