Celebrity chef Ranveer Brar is set to open the country’s first 5-star Indian restaurant and what better place for it that Brampton?
New restaurant Mayura is set to join the GTA’s best Indian food scene in early December at 200 County Court Blvd, replacing The Kort Haus bar and grill.
The 12,000 square foot fine dining restaurant will be able to serve up to 300 guests at a time and they’ll have an outdoor patio too.
Brar is well-known for his role as a judge on MasterChef India and brings a plethora of experience, having opened more than 20 restaurants worldwide. This is his first foray in the Canadian food scene.
One of Brar’s most popular dishes — Lucknow’s kabab — will be a part of the dishes offered. But the rest off the menu stays tightly under wraps until their official opening in the first week of December.
