With the recent developments surrounding COVID-19, the Brampton Half-Marathon, which was originally scheduled for June 13-14 of this year, has now been postponed to June 12-13, 2021.

The decision to postpone this year’s marathon was made by Peel Public Health, the Province of Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer and the World Health Organization in order to reduce and limit the spread of COVID-19.

“This is disappointing news for the participants who have been training for this race,” says Mayor Patrick Brown. “However, your health is important during this pandemic. I hope you will join us next year for the inaugural Brampton Half-Marathon.”

Those who registered for this year’s marathon will be transferred automatically for next year’s Half-Marathon.

As of this writing the website is not updated yet, but you will soon be able to use it to get further info and updates: www.bramptonhalfmarathon.com.
