Brampton has one of the most diverse food scenes in Canada and it continues to expand more each year. Late last year there was a new addition to the mix: a restaurant that will cater to fans of authentic Tibetan and Nepalese cuisine.
Karma’s Momo, part of the Karma’s Kitchen family, opened a new location back in October at 10 Pannahill Drive. The restaurant caters to a diverse group of people with food that has been around for centuries and comes from the ‘roof of the world’ also known as Tibet and the Himalayan ranges of Nepal.
“When you visit Karma’s Kitchen, you are not just a guest, we treat you as a family,” boasts the website.
The menu offers such delicious meals as crispy cauliflower, onion rings, potato chili, vegetable spring rolls, chicken skewers, bread/roti, tingmo/steamed buns, rice, hot and sour soup as well as shrimp Thai and beef. It also includes many different varieties of momo (dumplings) such as chilli momo, veggie momo, chicken momo, and beef momo.
Karma’s Momo serves fresh, healthy food and 100 per cent halal meat. To order ahead for takeout, call (905) 495-3336.
