Brampton has three more cannabis shops

Brampton’s cannabis shops are growing. The third cannabis shop in the city opened on December 31, 2020, the fourth in mid-January, and its fifth opened February 1, 2021.

The first one was Ganjika House which opened April 2019 and was followed up by Dutch Love (formerly known as Hobo) in July 2020.

The POTery, which opened New Year’s Eve, is located at 239 Queen Street East, making it the city’s third Ontario government-authorized pot shop.

It is independently-owned by Bramptonians Deep Sihota and Matthew Dundee, who are brothers-in-law. Employees of the POTery are called “potanists” and the store promises a high level of customer service.

The two want to do their part to remove the stigma they believe is still attached to recreational cannabis use, and part of that is makign everyone feel welcome in their shop. They want everyone to feel comfortable shopping and asking questions any time.

Current COVID restrictions mean can have your order delivered or you can pick it up curbside. Of course identification showing that you’re 19 or over will be required.
