The City is accepting applications for community grants to its new Advance Brampton Fund.
UPDATE 20 January 2020 – This article was originally published in December when there were info sessions. While all sessions have passed now, the deadline to apply has been extended to February 3. Learn more about the grant program here.
Formerly the Community Grant Program, the Advance Brampton Fund is the city’s main body that funds non-profit organizations across the city. It was recently revised based on feedback from a range of stakeholders.
The grant program is still designed to support non-profit organizations that make a unique contribution to Brampton, but the new Advance Brampton Fund just opened with a new model that includes a focus on scaling up projects from start-up to become more sustainable entities.
Throughout the month of December, Brampton City Council is running drop-in information sessions to learn more about the grant, as well as other sessions on skill building for non-profit organizations. Check out the schedule here.
