Getting acquainted with a new city can be overwhelming, with places to go and so many streets to learn. A tour might offer just enough to boost your navigation confidence, as well as impress your friends in Brampton with a thing or two that they may not have known.

If you would like this kind of tour, you’re in luck. Brampton Library is taking newcomers to Brampton by the hand, doing informative bus tours to help them learn about the city. Specifically, this tour is for people who have moved to Brampton since January 1, 2016.

The tour features key locations like City Hall, hospitals, and bus/train stations. You also get to see where your nearby library branches, parks and community centres are. And since this tour runs after regular work hours, in the evening, it is also a great time to enjoy the Winter Lights of downtown Brampton.

Tours begin and end at the Chinguacousy branch library across from Bramalea City Centre, and are scheduled to run December 3-19, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

As space is limited, act quickly. In order to reserve your spot, visit any of the seven library branches or call: 905-793-4636.

For more information see the Brampton Library page on the event details.
