Get ready for an epic night of music as This is Brampton returns to the 2019 North by Northeast (NXNE) festival on Friday, June 7 at 9 p.m.

This year’s showcase will take place at the Hideout, one of Toronto’s premier live music venues, located at 423 College Street.

This is Brampton @NXNE is a curated showcase of local talent chosen by a panel of Brampton artists and industry experts.

This year’s artists include:

ZeneSoul – An upcoming independant R&B artist and songwriter who launched her music career with her first hit single “Pricey” in August of 2018.

Kaë Music – Formerly part of iconic reggae band, The Sensation Band, Kaë Music has written and released her first original single called “The Struggle is Real” and is now working on her EP.

Reeko Rieffe – An artist of Haitian descent who fuses Creole and multicultural sounds into his music. He has made a name for himself online with over 200,000 streams platform-wide and 30,000 total views on Youtube.

Noyz, Tremayne and Scotty IV – Noyz is a local MC, spoken word artist and producer, who writes, records and performs his own music. Along with working on music, he is also a community mental health activist who reaches out to youth through the power of song writing.

Tremayne is a hip-hop artist who mixes classic Chicago hip hop with Modern Toronto’s contemporary trap soundwaves. Scotty IV represents the other side of the GTA’s hip hop scene. Tremayne and Scotty IV are a part of Toronto’s Stay Out Late collective.

This marks the second year that the City is participating in NXNE as part of the NXNE Club Land Series, which is programmed by the top musicians, industry leaders and associations in Canada. This year’s festival will include more than 40 shows.
