As of the morning of Sunday, April 12, Ontario has reached 7,049 reported COVID-19 cases, up 401 from the previous day’s report.
Other facts from the Sunday update: 274 deaths have been reported in the province and 3,121 cases are considered resolved.
The Peel-specific numbers are from Monday, April 13. They indicate that the Region of Peel has 1,001 total cases (an increase of 115 from April 11), with 527 in Mississauga, 427 in Brampton, 41 in Caledon, and 6 pending further information.
Three new deaths were reported in Peel over the weekend, which brings the total number of deaths from COVID-19 in the region to 18.
