Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) is the largest fantasy tabletop roleplaying game in the world. It’s old-school group virtual reality. Players indulge in the storytelling nature of the game as they adventure through immersive settings – think along the line of the world created by J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings.

Players, from the curious beginner to the seasoned master, can get together at Cardboard Memory Inc. as it hosts a free Dungeons & Dragons night in Brampton every Monday evening.

Players must come equipped with their imagination and good attitude, and preferably a D&D 5th edition character sheet, which you can download from this website. You can use one of the pre-made character sheets, or build your own from scratch.

First-timer? No problem. D&D offers its basic rules free for download. The Player’s Handbook is a great reference for beginners and seasoned players alike and you can pick one up at the store.

The events a be on Mondays, starting Oct. 14, from 6 p.m. Cardboard Memories is at 230 Sandalwood Pkwy. E, #2 and you can check out the Facebook events page for more details.
