Bramptonian wins Post Foods Canada’s Search for Goodness award

Brampton resident Michelle Kopas has been named winner of Post Foods Canada’s fifth annual Search for Goodness, a national search to recognize individuals for their selfless commitment to their community.

In 2001, Kopas created The Jordan Kopas Foundation in memory of her son, who died in a tragic vehicle accident. Through her foundation she has helped over 1,000 families in and around Brampton by providing kids with essentials such as diapers, winter boots, clothing, and more.

Canadians nominated many people for the award between February and April, and then (after a whopping 98,000+ votes!) in early May the 10 nominees with the most votes went to a round judged by Post Foods Canada, Inc.

Kopas will receive $10,000 to help spread even more goodness in our community. We look forward to seeing what the Jordan Kopas Foundation does next.
