Brampton Transit announced this week that it’s Merry Christmas and Holiday greetings will be removed from buses effective immediately. After an extensive review of services, staff made the decision based on accessibility — keeping the message simple makes for easier reading. So now during Holiday months, the message on buses will remain the same. Surprisingly, Bramptonians took the news in stride, acknowledging the rationale behind the decision. Here’s how they responded:
Cue the over dramatics
This is NOT okay
— USE CAPS LOCK TO SHOW EXTRA OUTRAGE
So ‘affensive’
They can’t take away Christmas!
That’ll show her!
Christmas is ruined, take away the toys from needy children too!
Bramptonians really approached this one with a level head — just like the internet did when the Starbucks cup dilemma happened.
