Jacobi IV and Devvyn Dior just released a beautiful, cinematic music video for his single ‘The Curse of the Hour Glass‘ off of his project ‘Sade House‘. This Brampton based alternative hip hop artist fuses orchestral instrumentation with a distinguishable Kanye West influence, bringing together a unique melodic style to this record.
Also consistent throughout the project is a deeply ominous tone, with tracks titled ‘Anxiety‘, ‘Repressed Memories Interlude‘, ‘X-Files‘, ‘Edward Scissor Hands‘ and more. There’s a fantastical, even cinematic, element to the music video and the project as a whole.
“The whole project is about love, depression, anxiety and real things we all go through,” says Devvyn Dior, the other artist featured on ‘The Curse of the Hour Glass‘.
We’re definitely feeling this wavy track. Make sure you check out Jacobi’s full project ‘Sade House‘ which can be found on Spotify and Apple Music. It’s easily one of the most creative musical endevours we’ve heard in 2016.
