Brampton came alive this weekend as the 10th annual Rotary Rib ‘n’ Roll festival wrapped up at historic Gage Park on Sunday, May 24, 2026. Attendees enjoyed smoky barbecue ribs, live rock music, local vendors, and family activities under sunny skies, with a voluntary donation at the gate supporting the Childhood Cancer Canada Foundation.

The event, which draws thousands each year, featured mouth-watering ribs, performances, and community spirit despite occasional rain. Mayor Patrick Brown joined the festivities, praising the vibrant energy.

*A Brief History*: Originally launched as the Blade-a-thon about 17 years ago by founder Rob van Kessel, ribs were added in 2004. Now in its 10th year as Rib ‘n’ Roll, the festival has become a beloved Brampton tradition at Gage Park, raising significant funds for charity while celebrating food, music, and community.
