The jolly Saint Nicholas himself makes an appearance through the city’s downtown core, in what the organizers say is the largest night parade in Ontario and the largest single-day event in Peel Region.

The Brampton Santa Claus Parade starts on Saturday, November 16, at 5:00 p.m. and goes through Main Street North and South, from Sproule to Elgin.

Wrap up, come out, and warm up with your favourite hot drink as you and your family enjoy what promises to capture the magic of the holiday season.

You’ll see Santa Claus and his sleigh pulled by his magic reindeer, his workshop of busy elves finishing toys for children before he delivers them on Christmas Eve, a steam-engine Polar Express, and a giant floating Frosty the Snowman. Local schools parade in marching bands and drumlines while dressed as toy tin soldiers and the Nutcracker himself — and plenty of other winter characters we all know and love.

Whether you’re lining the streets to take in the parade, or enjoying from home, you can vote for your favourite at BramptonSantaClausParade.com.
